i am feeling a bit ..
i do not know how to describe.

i have been trying to step out of it.
one minute, i tell myself, okay.
the other minute i will retreat back to my comfort zone.

sometimes i know some stuff what others are saying is easier to say than to be done.

but people does dwell over stuff for a long period of time.
but there come some point in time, i feel numb.
or maybe that's what an aching heart will do- to be numb.
so you don't know what or even how to react to other stuff.

i know i should use the time to do something more meaningful/useful, but i knew i have been spending time to shop/eat/travel around in Singapore (which is the same if i have book my air tickets to Osaka / Taiwan, i nearly did that but i stop myself)..

but i have spent this Holiday in a good way.

meeting up with people i have not seen for long.

and knew about updated stuff from them.

oh well.

i do not know how to put all my mixed feelings i had this 2 weeks into words.

bitter, sweet, fun, shock, sad, was all i could described for now..

Good or bad, hard to say

Once upon a time, there was a king. The king liked one of his followers very much because he was very wise and always gave very useful advice. Therefore the king took him along wherever he went.

One day, the king was bitten by a dog, the finger was injured and the wound was getting worse. He asked the follower if that was a bad sign.

The follower said, Good or Bad, hard to say'. In the end, the finger of the king was too bad that had to be cut.

The king asked the follower again if that was a bad sign. Again, the follower gave the same answer, 'Good or Bad, hard to say'. The king became very angry and sent the follower to prison.

One day, the king went hunting in the jungle. He got excited when he was on the chase of a deer. Deeper and deeper he went inside the jungle. In the end he found himself lost in the jungle. To make thing worse, he got captured by the native people who lived inside the jungle. They wanted to sacrifice him to their god. But when they noticed that the king had one finger short, they released him immediately as he was not a perfect man anymore and not suitable for sacrifice. The king managed to get back to his palace after all. And he finally understood the follower's wise quote, 'Good or Bad, hard to say'. If he hadn't lost one finger, he could have been killed by the native people.

He ordered to release the follower, and apologized to him. But to the king’s amazement, the follower was not mad at him at all. Instead, the follower said, 'It wasn't a bad thing that you locked me up.' Why? Because if the king hadn't locked the follower up, he would have brought the follower along to the jungle. If the native found that the king was not suitable, they would have used the follower. Again, the quote 'Good or Bad, hard to say' stands.

The moral of the story:
Everything that happens in this world, there is no absolute good or bad. Sometimes good things turned out to be bad things eventually, while bad things become a gain.

Whatever good things that happen to you, enjoy it, but don't have to hold too tight to it, treat it as a surprise in your life.

Whatever bad things that happen to you, don't have to feel too sad or despair, in the end, it might not be a total bad thing after all.

If one can understand this, he or she will find life much easier.

a quarter century.
somehow. 25 seems a small number but in actual fact its not.

thank all the people i have met along the way, who guide me, friend me, hate me, dislike me, scold me, mad at me and so on and so forth.
i admit i do not have a large circle of friends. i might look quite anti social on surface, tough, do not talk well, do not have those guai guai look,look evil or whatsoever, which will irritate most of the people..
but i know i have friends who know me well, treat me well, teach me well and more, and i know i can find them when i needed them(even though, i am a person who keep things to myself,haha)

and thanks daddy and mommy for never ending love. and i hope someday, i could be like both of you. old and yet still loving forever. :)

oh not to worry about my love quota, because i know it have not been used up yet, it still remain a lot for that special someone to come along the way. haha.

BACK FROM HOLIDAYS! :D

was in Hong Kong last Saturday.
whao, its like almost one week.
and was back on Wednesday early morning, and i slept 4 hours or so, and i went back to work! WEI, CALL ME PRO LE!

anyway, i had a hard time to adjust back! SERIOUSLY!!
i was so tired during work that i was like is it going to be 6PM SOON?

tears roll down my eyes, when i heard about the news a few hours ago.;'(
it was just difficult to sink into the news.
let alone my nephew i think.
i wonder how is he going to cope, on top of his O level this year.

why did the one up there, had to take away from him his dad(my cousin) 13 years ago, and 13 years later his mom(my cousin-in-law).
why?

yesterday was the first time i casted my vote.
yesterday was the first time a GRC have been won by the opposition.

its been a long day for me yesterday.
while after lesson, we cab back home, and was in Aljunied GRC at that precinct while rushing home.
after D&D, the cab went by Aljunied GRC area, and i was thinking if the unconfirmed source was true, then this place going to be with the opposition.
and when i reach home, the result was not shown even until 2.30am plus.
and when they show GY speach, i felt my utmost respect for him with tears welled up my eyes.
it was definitely mix feeling time at that moment.

The GRC system have its flaws.
everyone can see from the result yesterday.
in the first place of creating the GRC system, they thought that no opposition could ever won in that way.
but somehow history was make yesterday and yet, we got to sacrificed 5 candidates, with 3 of them held onto minister position before, with one being the potential candidate.
and yet those who shouldn't have, just..
but like GY have said, a new chapter in Singapore have begin.

and for once all of us are so into this election, that we keep looking at Facebook newsfeeds even when we are at D&D last night.

its been a great Saturday, from going for last module lesson, to rushing back to vote & to go off for D&D.
lacking of sleep since Saturday.
i will go back to bed now.

and on top of that on the polling day itself, i have class in the morning, and Company dinner and dance at night.
now i have not make up my mind on to vote first, then go for lesson, or lesson, then vote since class will only end around 4pm.

time is passing so fast that i don't even know where all the time i have thrown into.

anyway, last month on the 27th March, we went to the trip to the Zoo. :)

since tingting have corporate discount(no, she don't work in the zoo, but somehow in the travel industry too), we go into the zoo at the discount.

but the main thing was..

we went there with GRACE LEE, who flew back from Dubai for her one month holiday.

and why was she in Dubai.

she went there for her work stint, and she only flew back during her holidays.

hopefully all things goes well, and she will be back for good in June.

anyway, initial plan was to take train to CCK, and took a bus (that's the only route i know how to go), in the end, Wei An drove us down.

i am so tired for the past few days after consolidating about don't know how many days of waking up in the middle of the night (lucky the last weekends to monday i didn't) for no reasons and couldn't get back falling asleep, that i knock out at about 10plus on Tuesday Night.

i think i shock myself, because i woke up close to 12am to ate the oranges. and then fall back to sleep again.
and then i thought i would sleep throughout, but hey no, i woke up again at about 4plus, and my friend what's app me, and i happily still can reply. and we both tried to sleep after which.
and in the end, i finally did.. but i woke up at the astonishing time of 8.10pm which i reach office slightly after 9am.

2010:

Jan-June:

the Chinese New Year falls on the Valentines day in February, and also the two times of 12 years of cycle for us 86-ers (and other times of other tiger years).

i ended my temp job then in April, and begin on a whole new life of slacking for two weeks.

graduation ceremony was in thay month, and i still miss being a student (albeit not the exams).

went for 2 interviews, and started off my contract job in May.

July-Dec:

work, work, work & more work till i was so depress.

then again, what's worst was i felt that my future is so bleak after working for 2 months plus, which i do not know why. then again, i adjust my mentality, and i feel much way better then. and i really happy to know this group of people - the Frolickers.

better to start off the month of July was my sister 21st Birthday, which i think we all had fun!and of course not to forget about Jay Chou concert in that month too. seriously was awesome to maximum, and i hope that he will have another concert soon! :D

August was even a better month, with many friends birthday in that month which spell celebration and this include mine birthday too! :) thanks for the awesome 3 times of celebration!

November was great when i almost work 3 or 4 working days each week, and i went out of Singapore for Holiday - to EAT, PRAY, LOVE to BALI. it was a nice getaway which i think all working people need it badly!

2010.

it only seems that 365 days flew by just like that.

it's been a good year, i suppose so.

nothing significant happen, but i am glad to meet all the people along the way.

may 2011 be better.

with resolution keep in my heart.

i hope what i want will eventually came true one by one or attain one by one.

it's Xmas eve!

and while people are rejoicing, my sister is the other way round.

Just before the eve, her bag (which was given during her 21st this year), was being cut, and her wallet which contain her IDs as well her Money(a few good hundred plus over bucks).

total damage : more than 500 or so (if you include the bag)

i bet the person will have his/her retribution.

i went for some last minute shopping after dinner at airport.

and it was madness.

i saw my cousin & cousin-in-law and they told me is QUEUE everywhere.

i saw tons of friends.

and even saw PARAMEDICS outside Crabtree & Evelyn (somehow, i think someone fainted or so) cos i just pass by and took a glimpse.

bought my stuff, and queue was like taking forever.

but then, its always like that.

oh well.

looking forward to the next two days.
